We are thrilled to announce that the second Scotiabank Giller Prize Power Panel will take place on Monday, March 22, at 7 p.m. EDT and will celebrate International Womenâs Day. The theme for this month will explore the challenges facing women writers in Canada, across age, race, and background. Moderated by The Globe and Mailâs Books Editor Judith Pereira, the group will feature the following renowned and award-winning Canadian novelists: writer, activist and journalist Susan Swan, author and journalist Karma Brown, Canadian writer, and poet TĂ©a Mutonji.
