Elana Rabinovitch, Executive Director of the Scotiabank Giller Prize, is thrilled to announce that the third Giller Prize Power Panel will take place on Monday, April 19, at 7 p.m. EDT and will celebrate the art of graphic novels. The panel will explore the art and culture of graphic novels as well as dive into what has made them so popular in the last decade.

We are thrilled to announce that the second Scotiabank Giller Prize Power Panel will take place on Monday, March 22, at 7 p.m. EDT and will celebrate International Women’s Day. The theme for this month will explore the challenges facing women writers in Canada, across age, race, and background. Moderated by The Globe and Mail’s Books Editor Judith Pereira, the group will feature the following renowned and award-winning Canadian novelists: writer, activist and journalist Susan Swan, author and journalist Karma Brown, Canadian writer, and poet Téa Mutonji.
