You’re Invited to the 2019 Giller Light Bash

The Giller Light Bash is an annual event that celebrates the Scotiabank Giller Prize while raising funds for Frontier College, a national charitable literacy organization founded in 1899.
The event will take place in seven cities across Canada (Calgary, Halifax, Thunder Bay, Toronto, Vancouver, Victoria and Winnipeg) on November 18, 2019 – the evening the 2019 Scotiabank Giller Prize winner is announced. Guests will watch the live broadcast of the gala while mingling with fellow book lovers.
Since 2001, the Giller Light Bash has raised over $1,000,000 for Frontier College. The funds have been used to recruit and train volunteers to deliver vital literary and learning support to 40,000 participants every year. These programs take place in libraries, health centres, public housing sites, prisons shelters and schools.
